Who we are

Born in Saratoga Springs, NY, owner and pitmaster Justin Prescott spent most of his youth in a small Texas town, where he developed a deep love for barbecue and Tex-Mex cuisine. His passion for bold, smoky flavors started early, but it was his time in the U.S. Army as a Forward Observer—serving three combat tours in Iraq and Qatar during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom—that truly broadened his culinary perspective. Traveling the world allowed him to experience diverse flavors, refine his palate, and develop an unmatched attention to detail that now shines through in every plate he serves.
